I have owned the car for about 20 years. Drove the car for about 3 – 4 years and has spent the rest of the time in my garage as a project.

If the supercharger set up is not required, its easily removed and the buyer can continue to use the EFI, I would replace the H20 pistons with U20 models to return to higher compression.

What's left to be done?

Complete the wiring, fine tune the EFI computer, a general once over to tidy up the paint as its beginning to show its age, an engineer report and get the car registered.

Engine and transmission:

Complete rebuild with about 30 minutes run-in time on a dyno when first completed.

40-70 cam "turbo profile"

Hardened steel valve seats on inlet and exhaust

Crank and conrods balanced.

Flywheel lightened and balanced.

Crank scraper

40thou oversize H20 pistons (to lower compression)

New timing chains and tensioners

Davies Craig electric water pump – Set up in reverse flow (cool water into the head first) but can be swapped around if desired to "regular" flow

Large alloy radiator

Custom made electronic ignition distributor.

Eaton M45 supercharger (originally from modern Mini Cooper S)

Custom inlet manifold with fuel injection

Microtech LT-8s fuel injection and ignition computer

Custom multi-V crank pully

100 Amp alternator

New starter motor *will need to be fitted

Heavy duty clutch

Gearbox was reconditioned by Lou Mondello

Extractors and side exiting exhaust pipe, in front of left rear wheel.
