The D.S.O.A.-NSW Inc. (Datsun Sports Owners Australia - NSW) was formed specifically for the owners of Nissan-Datsun Fairlady/Sports roadsters (Japans' first sports car) and Silvia coupes built before 1971.

The aim of the Club is to maintain the marque and create a forum for members to discuss technical and common interest matters relating to, as well as, to participate in social outings and competition events.

The Club is also an outlet for the exchange of parts, information, and services by and for the owners of these classic cars. Thanks to the skills and contacts of several club members, the club also imports and manufactures parts that are difficult to obtain.

Through the RMS NSW, eligible vehicles can register for the Historic Plate Scheme. The Club is affiliated with the Council of Motor Clubs (CMC), which allows member cars to register on the CVS.

As well as drives and a great magazine, DatChat, the Club is also involved in show & shine days, technical support and an annual National Meeting of the interstate clubs.

The Club is a great conduit for the development of lasting friendships with other enthusiasts who share a love of these classic sports cars.
